Les tartines
provençales
Ingredients needed
A baguette
Olive oil
Garlic
Tapenade (blend of Kalamata olives, anchovies, capers and olive oil)
Slice of vine ripe tomato
Fresh mozzarella cheese
Herbe de Provence, salt and pepper
. Cut 5” of your baguette,
then cut in half as you would prepare a sandwich,
. Pour some olive oil with garlic on the baguette and spread evenly
. Spread a light layer of tapenade
. Put your slices of tomato
. Cut the fresh mozzarella cheese into little cube
and put some on top of the tomatoes
. Salt and pepper and finally some herbes de Provence sprinkle
Once finish preheat your oven at 400
and put your tartines on a sheet
pan
for about 10 minutes;
if you want the bread to be more crispy leave
them more.

I recommend you to prep the tartines the day before
so the baguette will
get more of the flavor of Provence.
To serve on a salad with some Kalamata olives
and sprinkles with fresh
chopped parsley.
