For more than 25 years, Douceur de France has been Georgia’s little corner of France. The name means “sweets of France,” but to our guests, it means the buttery scent of fresh croissants, the gleam of chocolate-glazed éclairs, and the crackle of a perfect crème brûlée.
Founded in 2000 by Chef Luc Beaudet, a native of the Poitou region in western France, our story began with a simple promise: keep everything French, keep everything fresh. From day one, every pastry was made from scratch. Croissants folded by hand, eggs cracked fresh, and the highest quality ingredients to capture authentic flavor.
When Chef Beaudet retired in 2022, the bakery entered a new chapter under new ownership, continuing to honor his traditions while expanding the experience. The vision remains the same: keep everything simple and French.
Today, Douceur de France is both a bakery and café. A place where guests gather for flaky pastries, hearty brunches, and a touch of French hospitality. Our menu pairs sweet indulgences with savory classics like Beef Bourguignon, Ratatouille & Eggs, and the golden Tourte au Poulet. To sip alongside, guests enjoy Truffle Lattes, Peach Bellinis, Kir Royales, and bottomless mimosas.
Through every season, we remain true to what Chef Beaudet started: fresh, authentic, French. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, we invite you to linger a little longer; over a pastry, a glass of champagne, or a warm plate of comfort.
Douceur de France: Sweet meets savory, always French.
